How Do We Raise Our Funds The majority of our funds come for donations from individuals and businesses in our community. These gifts range from $10.00 to as much as $500,000.00 and have come from Kool-Aid sales to gifts from estates and family legacies. All of these gifts, in the grand scheme of things, help to ensure our staff and physicians have the necessary tools they need in order to provide compassionate care and comfort to our patients.
Sponsorship of our events is another revenue stream for the Foundation. Businesses and corporations who would like to partner with us help to financial support our fun events and education sessions. There are a variety of opportunities available to meet the needs of any interested business. We also receive grants (e.g. Nova Lab Symposium) to host an event over a period of 2 or 3 years.
Our Entrepreneur / Business Centre is new to the Foundation. We have a Memorandum of Understanding with Bluewater Health to manage on their behalf, the businesses located in the Atrium space. This allows BWH to concentrate on patient care and allows BWHF to raise funds for medial equipment. Interest & Investment Income provides a revenue stream that fluctuates with the amount of funds invested and the rate available.

- Dream Home Lottery, grand prize a home draw is in February
- Charity Gala Ball, always a different theme and always a great event
- Golf Fore Health Tournament held in June at beautiful Sarnia Golf & Curling Club
